The Process

Every year, hundreds of men express an interest in joining a lodge in the 1st District of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Massachusetts. Like many of our 1st District lodges, The Consolidated Lodge accepts only three to six candidates each year. You can expect us to spend up to six months getting to know you deciding whether or not you are a good fit for our lodge and vice versa. Once we do, it is not rare for it to take another twelve months to initiate you as an Entered Apprentice (1st Degree), pass you to the degree of Fellow Craft (2nd Degree) and finally, raise you to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.
